  1. Design Artist

Lemax Design Artist

Lemax, Inc., a Canton, MA based company, engages freelance artists to conceive and illustrate miniature collectible figurines and accessories to be part of annually produced Halloween and Christmas porcelain village collections. Villages include buildings, accessories and figurines. Major USA retail accounts are Michael’s, Sears and Kmart.

Requirements:

  • Strong illustration and coloring skills
  • Life drawing skills to design figurines
  • Strong creativity skills to produce charming figurines and accessories
  • Experience using Photoshop and Illustrator computer programs (ZBrush experience is a plus)
  • Ability to start with concept research and development and subsequently produce perspective artwork as well as alternate (rear and/or side) figure views for production
  • Experience working with a team of artists
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to take direction well and be a team player
  • English language proficiency required
  • Prefer candidate to be located in the USA, Southern California preferred, but not required
